Meet our new hygienist
It’s an exciting time here for the team at Birkenhead Dental Surgery as we introduce the newest addition to our team, hygienist Mariam Ghotbi.
Mariam is a graduate of AUT University who has been in the industry for a several years now. She can, not only offer a comprehensive oral examination, but is also very friendly and her bubbly personality will make you feel at ease while sitting in the dreaded dental chair!
Mouth-guards are important!

If you or your child is involved in contact sports, having a professionally fitted mouth-guard is essential to prevent dental injuries. While you can purchase pre-formed mouth-guards in retail stores, this is not nearly as effective as getting it custom fit by your dentist, which results in a better fit and more protection. Which makes it easier to breath, talk and are more comfortable.
